How can you get clear, healthy, glowing skin?

I have a mild form of acne that bothers me no end. Are there any particularly helpful skin products or eating habits that will get rid of acne and get you clear, healthy skin?
If you exfoliate or something, how often should you do it without drying your skin out? I heard if you dry your skin out too much you get wrinkles at a younger age, which I don’t want.

  1. What I use is the St Ive’s Apricot Scrub for Blackhead & blemish control.
It works really really well, and it leaves the skin soft and clear.

You can also try Noxema, It tingles a little bit and I like it because it doesn’t leave your skin dried out, nor is it overwhelming for sensitive skin.

    Try both of these out!
They are inexpensive and they work great!

Also, stay away from greasy foods.
You are what you eat definitely applies to this situation.
More low fat dairy products, fruits with high antioxidant content, and foods with essential fatty acids.

HOPE THIS HELPS, AND GOOD LUCK!

  3. Drink lots of water, it will add moisture and balance to your face as well as body. It will make your face brighter and less acne. it also helps flush bad toxins from your body. Also dont touch your face, it will add more oils than it already has. Try exfloiating once a week too.

  4. Don’t eat so much oily food, candy, or any junk food, eat plenty of vegetables and keep it balanced with some meat as well, don’t drink so much soda, drink water or flavored water instead, keep ur face clean if u use make up like cover up, whenever u get home wash ur face clean lotion it every time after u wash ur face is important, exercise works too :)

It’ll also keep ur body healthy

  5. If you’re into juicing then cucumber juice (by itself not mixed with anything) is really really good, of course any fresh juice will help you get healthy but especially cucumber for the skin.

  6. i use proactiv, i was suprised how good it works. i used to have really servere acne but now my face dosnt even have one blackhead. The only bad thing is that it can really dry your skin out if you dont moisturise. it even fades acne scars. Its just under $100 but its definatly worth it. good luck.

  7. First of all, forget about the eating habit thing – that is a myth. What you eat does not affect your skin (proven fact).

As for the acne, find a cleanser with salicylic acid- this will uncloggs pores and prevents breakouts-there are many to choose from, Neutrogena is best for those with a budget. Exfoliate weekly with a scrub that is for acne- I reccomend Biore or St. Ives.
All this is effective, but if you don’t moisturize, your skin could become dry, so make sure to use that moistuizer that is non-comedogenic (this means that it won’t clog your pores). You can find all of the above at your local drugstore, there are many brands to choose from.

    Be persistent, good luck! :)
