Other good free beauty review sites include MakeupTalk (can be a little difficult to navigate until you get used to it, but it has GREAT discussion boards) and Total Beauty (which provides editors’ ratings as well as customer ratings). Total Beauty is relatively new, so they don’t have as many reviews as Makeup Alley or MakeupTalk. However, I find that a lot of the reviews on Makeup Alley are old, and there’s no way to search for reviews by date or within a date range.
Sephora has started allowing customers to leave product reviews, which I find quite helpful, and Beauty.com has a lot of customer reviews.
BellaSugar is an excellent beauty blog that has just started a product reviews section with a combination of editorial reviews and user reviews. Should be very good.
The Cosmetic Connection puts out a newsletter of product reviews and you can also look at the reviews archive on their site.
