salicylic acid products DO NOT seem to work for me. WHY ? Ive used proactiv with ok results but not good enough. and 10% benzo perox. dries me out too much. I need a system with BP, Ive got combo skin with sever dryness and sever oily areas TOO ! please help. plus i get dark acne scars that last for month ! anyone have ths type of skin?

have you seen a dermatologist? i had terrible acne a couple of years ago and tried just about everything possible. i am allergic to benzoyl peroxide which is one of the best things to cure acne. my doctor recommended YAZ a birth control pill which cleared my face up in a couple of months. you cant even tell i had acne. the next step from there would have been acutane which is the strongest medication possible… it gets rid of acne, scarring and prevents it from ever coming back. hope this helps!

I HAVENT TRIED THE NEUTROGENA SKIN ID THING BUT YOU SHOULD, TAKE THE TEST TO SEE WHAT WORKS FOR U

go to a dermatologist or maybe even your physician and get a prescription for doxycycline or another antibiotic
